About the Role

Located at our Lobethal processing facility and reporting directly to the CIO, the IT Support Officer will work closely with the site Maintenance Manager and be the primary contact for our Lobethal users.

Technical services are vital within this industry with many different processes and pieces of technology used, the successful candidate will ensure that everything runs smoothly and on time. This is where technical services are key.

To be successful for this role, applicants must have the following:

  • Experience working in a site-base IT Technical role
  • Complex manufacturing environment (PLC based experience)
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Sound knowledge of Windows Active Directory
  • Working Knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
  • Ability to build great relationships with key stakeholders (your customers) and a desire to contribute to the Team's overall success
  • A keen eye for detail and passion to succeed

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with Maintenance Technicians to assist in plant hardware fault resolution and repair
  • Supply general IT hardware and software support to the computer users of Lobethal facility
  • Maintain IT hardware and equipment, in conjunction with the Maintenance team
  • Participate in the Helpdesk on-call roster to ensure continued IT support for critical incidences, outside normal working hours 
  • Actively monitor the TFI production environment, recording and escalating issues to the relevant support person, within the IT and Maintenance teams
