Telecommunications provider My Net Fone (MFN) has announced it has acquired Connexus, a Melbourne based internet service provider (ISP), for a reported $4.75 million.

Connexus specializes in delivering high quality data communications to small and medium enterprise customers.

Connexus has been in operation for the last 23 years and currently employes a team of 15 staff in its Melbourne office.

“In addition to being a great business, Connexus provides us with a significant product portfolio in the managed data space, which allows My Net Fone to become a ‘one-stop-comms-shop’ for Australian SMEs,” Said MNF’s CEO Rene Sugo.

Connexus’ customer base currently consists of approximately 1,000 small tpo medium customers and about 600 residential DSL customers.
