As Victoria's only state-wide health service, Ambulance Victoria (AV) occupies a unique role in the public health system. Last year, almost one million people experiencing a health emergency called on us for help.  We continue to evolve our services to meet the growing and increasingly complex needs of Victorians, to connect every patient to the right pathway of care - whether hospital emergency or alternative pathways. Ambulance Victoria (AV) is seeking a pioneering and experienced Manager Content Production who will partner and work closely with Division leaders and teams to provide communication content expertise that supports and drives AV's objectives.

About the role

Reporting to the Director Communication External Affairs this role will develop, execute, and deliver digital content across external and internal channels, and will lead, enhance, measure, and evaluate AV's social media performance. The role will also:

  • Lead, plan and execute content strategy that drives consistent with AV's strategic objectives for a range of social media platforms
  • Ensure activities undertaken are managed responsibly and comply with legislation, organisational objectives, budget, and designated timeframes
  • Influence and build communication capability, facilitate peer involvement in C&SR initiatives and services through the delivery of authentic, impactful campaigns across multiple channels
  • Provide expert advice to ensure goals are achieved and to support AV's reputation and delivery of objectives
  • Contribute to building a performance based, collaborative culture to foster strong development and continuous improvement across the professional discipline of strategic communication

About you

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in digital, marketing, advertising, public relations, or communications
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex strategic and creative concepts in simple ways
  • Knowledge in using storytelling and narrative to promote key messages and engage audiences through the production of compelling content, including producing and editing videos
  • Capacity to create effective social media content to meet different business needs
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and influence conversations
  • Highly organised and have the capacity to manage multiple projects on time

This position is graded at AV5. The AV grade salary range for an AV5 position is $119,839 to $141,669 plus 9.5% superannuation.
