Administration Manager

Package Value of $80,000 - $90,000

 
Written applications are invited for the position of Administration Manager with the Longreach Regional Council, and will be received until 10 July 2015. Late applications may not be accepted.

The Position
This position is responsible for supporting and directing the activities of subordinate staff within the administration field. The areas this position is responsible for include Information Technology, Records, Stores and Customer Service. The incumbent will be required to proactively manage all aspects of various administrative activities as well as monitoring organizational issues related to those duties.

Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant should ideally have qualifications in the area of Business Management, Information Technology, Procurement and/or related field, or extensive experience in this area, preferably within Local Government. Applicants must also have knowledge and experience in using PCS, InfoXpert and/or similar integrated accounting systems. The successful applicant will need good time management, organisation skills as well as exceptional communication skills.

Salary and Conditions
This is a contract position, and offers a package value of between $80,000 - $90,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Superannuation of up to 12% of salary is also available upon commencement. Five (5) weeks a year annual leave and fifteen (15) days sick leave apply. Rostered days off do not apply to this position.
