IT Service Development Officer

We now have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Development Officer to contribute to our commitment. A continuing position, it is based at our picturesque campus in Townsville.
What you can accomplish in this role
As a valued member of the team, you will develop and maintain staff and student managed operating environment (MOE), Desktop/mobile management software in line with systems development life cycle (SDLC) best practice.
Ensuring the integrity of staff and student computing environments, you will develop and deploy patch management and virus protection services whilst providing an efficient and effective Service Management tool through the innovative use of functionalities available.
What you can bring to this role
Your customer focus and agility will see you resolving service requests and incidents within prescribed service levels and deliver project tasks in line with milestones. As a proven problem solver, your analytical skills and high level computer literacy in Microsoft, Apple and Linux Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Desktop Management Software, Java, Web Browser technology and database applications will be well utilised in this challenging yet rewarding role.
