Systems Developer (CRM/Microsoft Dynamics) - [Archived Advertisement]

Australian Pork Limited (APL) is the peak industry body representing Australia's pig producers. A challenging and exciting opportunity exists for a System’s Developer to maintain, develop and improve its enabling technologies (Microsoft Dynamics CRM and associated platforms, software and other technologies) to meet APLs business requirements. .

The position is responsible for undertaking software development in line with the specifications provided by the Business Analyst, including:

• Maintaining, auditing and improving organsiational support systems
• Writing Diagnostic programs and desiging and writing code for APL's operating systems and software;
• Making recommendations for future development;
• Liaising closely with stakeholders, APL's ICT Cross Divsional Team, and IT services provider.

The successful applicant will:

• Have a background in .NET development and systems integration;
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011;
• Possess extensive knowledge of ASP.net, JavaScript and C#;
• Be familiar with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, and IIS Server;
• Be familiar with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, and CRM Web Services;
• Be skilled in Mircosoft Office software and Microsoft SharePoint (desirable);
• Have high level oral and written communication skills;
• Need to demonstrate ability to manage a broad range of activities and respond quickly to challenges; and
• Have the ability to develop and maintain productive workin relationships with stakeholders at a variety of levels.

The successful applicant will also be expected to possess the ability to work under direction in a structured release environment. You will require the ability to understand and translate business requirements into effective software solutions. You will need to be able to quickly understand existing systems and adapt them to emerging needs.

A relevant degree and experience is preferred.

This position is being offered as a full time contract position based in Canberra.  Remuneration will be negotiated commensurate with experience. Applications close 5 pm 27 November 2015.
